The word introspicio is derived from the latin meaning, to look within. This painting was originally commissioned by a friend of mine who happens to be a die hard TOOL fan. When he reached out to me about creating a custom painting inspired by TOOL, I couldn't refuse. Without realizing how difficult it would be to translate their epic music onto canvas, I dove in head first. This painting threw me into so many obstacles, I can't believe its "finished".
The original is no longer available for purchase, however there are prints available in my shop if you'd still like to have the artwork hanging in your home or studio.
