This piece was commissioned by a friend of mine shortly after a psychedelic experience he had at Burning Man. He explained to me that he had an intense vision while venturing out into deep playa, where a huge mechanical device broke through the sky that seemed to be controlling the universe. He also explained to me that it resembled the mayan calendar. I did my best to replicate and project this experience he had onto canvas so that he could keep it as a recorded memory. This piece remains in his private collection and has to be one of my favorite projects to date.
